Fuel filter Iveco Daily VI (since 2014)

About this model

The Iveco Daily VI has been built since 2014.

The main engines of this generation are 2.3, 3.0.

About this part

The fuel filter stops dirt and water before they reach the injectors. Modern injectors work to tolerances of a few thousandths of a millimetre: a particle that gets through wears them, and an injector costs far more than a filter.

The usual interval is between 30,000 and 60,000 kilometres, and on diesels it often coincides with a major service. An engine that misfires under load or starts poorly may have a clogged filter. On a van that works long hours and fills up in different places, the filter clogs sooner: it is worth changing it earlier.

It can be inline, a cartridge, or part of the pump module in the tank. Connections and flow rate matter, and on diesels also the water separator and any sensor.
